Mimosa flowers are best known for their delicate, fluffy, and vibrant yellow blooms, and the Mimosa Festa outside Kawasaki Station serves as a celebration of them. Running from mid-February to mid-March, the event includes variety of activities such as market stalls and live performances to workshops and contests. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the festa!
One of the main attractions will be the Mimosa Marche which is held on select dates during the event window. The open-air market is inspired by Italian street markets, and is set to feature mimosa-themed goods, baked treats, and fresh flowers. Attendees can also participate in a range of workshops, such as a succulent arrangement session and a mini wreath-making workshop using mimosa, eucalyptus, and other flowers.
Music lovers can enjoy the fun of Mimosa Live, with performances by artists from various genres. All performances are free and open to the public, and will be held at the central fountain square of La Cittadella.
