My hubby and I were on our bicycles for exercise when we happened to pass by a huge crowd of people heading towards the Tama River. We decided to follow them, and found ourselves surrounded by many people walking along lines of colorful stalls for food, drinks and toys for kids to enjoy. Above these stalls were cherry-blossom trees in full bloom, and we were really fascinated by the sight that greeted us, so we decided to park our bikes and join the crowd. It was our first time to experience Hanami (cherry-blossom viewing) in our home of Hamura City.
