A special event at the Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of History looks into Japanese medieval manufacturing, with a specific focus on tools and utensils that were excavated from the Kusado Sengen-cho site. This medieval town was located in present-day Fukuyama City, Hiroshima.

The various artifacts on display will showcase the technical skills that were required to make certain pieces, and how early medieval manufacturing was able to enrich people's lives.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 290 yen.

The Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of History is located under 10 minutes on foot from the JR Fukuyama Station, served by the Sanyo Shinkansen, the Sanyo Main Line, and the Fukuen Line.

For those who plan to drive to the museum, it is around 20 minutes from either the Fukuyama East or the Fukuyama West Interchange on the Sanyo Expressway. There's no dedicated parking lot for the museum, but there is a municipal lot in close proximity. It's charged at a rate of 150 yen per 30 minutes for the first hour, and then 100 yen for every 30 minutes thereafter. Museum visitors can get the first hour of their parking validated - bring your parking ticket to the front desk.
