Celebrating a milestone year, Dai Nagoya Building is marking its 10th anniversary with a spring event that brings a familiar character into the spotlight. Running from March 4th to May 31st, 2026, "Miffy's Joyful Garden in DAI NAGOYA BUILDING" transforms the complex into a space themed around Miffy, with decorations, food, and activities spread throughout.
The main attraction is the 5th floor Sky Garden, where a 1.5-metre-tall Miffy statue greets visitors at the entrance, surrounded by spring flowers. Inside, there are several photo spots, including an arch shaped like Miffy's ears and a flower-petal display of her face set into the rooftop. The area is open from late morning through the evening, with illuminations starting at 5pm, giving it a different atmosphere after dark.
Across the building, visitors can take part in a digital stamp rally by locating Miffy statues, or join the "Where's Miffy?" search game, which encourages you to look a bit more closely at your surroundings. There is also a limited-time Flower Miffy pop-up shop offering themed goods and floral items.
Food is another highlight, with restaurants serving Miffy-inspired desserts and drinks alongside special anniversary menus. These range from character-themed sweets to seasonal dishes created to mark the occasion.
Shoppers can also pick up an original mini sticker with eligible purchases, while those posting photos on Instagram may have the chance to win prizes. For anyone visiting Nagoya this spring, it is an easy stop to add to a day around the station area.
