If you want to get an astounding view of the Yokohama Bay Bridge, the bay and its harbor area, the Harbor View Hill Park, otherwise known as the French Hill Park is a perfect spot to set up your tripod for a magnificent photo capture.

This was once named the French Mountain because the French Consulate building stood in the same vicinity. However, after the Great Kanto Earthquake knocked it down in 1923, it was slowly developed into a hilltop park which finally opened to the public in 1962.

Remains of old buildings and a windmill, which used to pump water from a well, are still found in the park.
