Spice Cafe Cuhponos

Spice Cafe Cuhponos is situated in Beppu, and offers up delicious Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. We received a recommendation to head here for lunch from a local coffee shop owner, and we're glad that we did!

The cafe's signature dish is their pho, which comes in several different varieties. If you head there at lunchtime, they have a lunch set menu with three varieties on offer - chicken pho, tomato chicken pho, and peanut butter and beef pho. I opted for the peanut butter and beef variety, and it didn't disappoint. It seemed to combine the best of pho and satay all in one! The lunch set comes with salad and your choice of either Vietnamese coffee or chai. If you'd prefer something a bit stronger, they offer Vietnamese or Japanese beers, sake, whisky and shochu.
