The annual Hiroshima Flower Festival held during Golden Week features a flower parade and an array of performances.

I am glad the festival was near the A-bomb dome in Hiroshima city. I got to see the performances like the Yosakoi dance parade while enjoying great food like Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. More importantly, I was enlightened about the history of the Hiroshima bombing at the Peace Park memorial museum.
