JR 미노부 선의 코후 역와 미나미코후 역은 서로 15분도 채 안 걸리고 서로 3 정거장 차이다.

코후 역은 상업 시설로 둘러싸여 있고 지역 주민들이 운영하는 점포들로 둘러싸인 반면, 미나미코푸는 논밭에 소규모의 건물로 둘러싸인 반소동 주거지에 위치해 있다.
