타카마츠 시내에서 금방 차로 갈 수 있는 시코쿠 무라는, 건물과 역사에 관심이 많거나 도시와 일상생활에서 한숨을 돌리고 싶은 사람들에게 마치 성소같은 역할을 할만한 곳이다. 시코쿠 무라는 시코쿠의 섬 주변의 전통 민가와 건물들을 공원 안에 모아 놓은 일종의 민속촌이다. 대부분의 건물과 장소가 국가 혹은 시의 문화재로 지정되어 있다.
